    Will there be DVD distribution in the US for those of use that don't live near art house theaters?

    Kino on Video will be handling the DVD release, which is scheduled for release in 2007. You can purchase the DVD direct from Kino: http://www.kino.com/video/, you can rent it from Netflix or Blockbuster Online, or you can purchase or rent it from any local retailer or video store.

    Kino.com doesn't have ANY date as to when they are going to be releasing this film onto DVD; not even a season.

    It still says the film's in theatres, and that's all...which is great...but it doesn't really help us any.

    Do you have any idea? A guesstimate even?

    "OLD JOY" will come out on DVD on May 1, 2007. You can pre-order the DVD from Kino as early as April 3, 2007 by visiting http://www.kino.com/video/. You can also put "OLD JOY" in your Netflix or Blockbuster Online queue, and start soliciting your local video stores and retailers immediately.
