Mohammad Rasoulof

DIRECTOR’S STATEMENT
Considering the characters of the film and the space they live in, I have tried, more than anything else, to tell the story in a true manner.
I have lived with the people of the “Iron Island” and know them well. I have tried to approach a realistic image of the life of these people in their painful condition that I have witnessed in the face of every single one of them. The “Iron Island” is a beautiful island…and life goes on despite the problems…
